How to Beat the Blackjack Dealer.

March 28th, 2008 by The Dealer

If you are really smart you actually can beat the Blackjack Dealer by counting cards.

The reason Casinos still allow Blackjack is that they know most people will never learn what it takes to win and and understand how it works. So the house will generally win. So few people do this that the Casinos don’t bother with it. They will watch you like a hawk but who cares.

The only way to have a little edge over the Blackjack dealer is to keep track of the cards that have already been dealt. Or, conversely, being able to have a reasonable way of know what is left in the shoe.

Every other advice on blackjack is bunk. If you want to know where I learned to do this follow this link and play around.

I use my skills at CasinoFortune and play online for the free games they offer. Every once in a while I throw some real money in their when they offer player bonuses. (They have great player bonuses)

How to play Baccarat

March 26th, 2008 by The Dealer

The way to play Baccarat is relatively easy and learning how to play Baccarat does not take very long. The rules are pre-defined and do not change.  There are two styles of play for the game of Baccarat: the full-pit version which features around 12 players and several members representing the house and who focus simply on the bets and deals. Then, there is mini-Baccarat, which is a small version of the larger game, which features one dealer, around six to seven players and less of an intense focus. The stakes are usually lower at the mini-Baccarat tables, but will usually get more people because it is less intimidating than the large Baccarat tables.

This is true of online Baccarat gambling as well.  I suggest amateur Baccarat players visit casinofortune.com and download their free player. You can play for fun and learn to master your Baccarat gaming skills.  This is the best way to really get a grip on the game of Baccarat.

The key to learning how to play Baccarat is to learn how to choose a winning hand. There are two hands in the game of Baccarat: the player hand and the banker hand. Your job is to choose which hand will win. You place your bet and then two cards are dealt for each hand. Depending on the cards, more may be dealt; the goal of Baccarat is determine which hand is closest to nine. That is the winning Baccarat hand.

Baccarat Myths - Card counting

March 24th, 2008 by The Dealer

One last myth we need to dispel before you can being to win at baccarat.

Card counting

Card counting is usually associated with blackjack, as it can be quite an effective strategy to put the odds in your favor over the long term and would then appear to be a good strategy in baccarat.

The problem is, the issue of used cards being fed back into the shoe before very many have been removed… thus negating any count a player had made.

Also, unlike blackjack baccarat does not offer opportunities to alter a bet in mid-hand play. Blackjack offers this in a number of situations, so you can increase your bet if your count changes.

Using card counting in baccarat offers so few situations with an advantage against the house that this will not work.

Have fun playing the game and don’t get bothered with counting cards.

Baccarat Myths - Patterns

March 19th, 2008 by The Dealer

Before you can being to win at baccarat, lets dispel a couple of common myths that make many novice players lose.

Patterns

Looking for patterns in baccarat is as pointless as it is in roulette, they are both games of chance. The previous play never influences the next play.

This is a simple trap that many novice gamblers fall into when playing any game of chance.

Patterns don’t exists. If you were betting on the flip of a coin, and it landed heads up 5 times in a row many gamblers would say the chances of tails as a next toss have increased, but of course they have not. The chances still remain 50 -50.

Patterns should be removed from your thought process and not enter your descision making.
