The most important thing about Craps is that is as only as complicated as you make it with the bets you make. You can place simple bets and play a nice slow game, or you go berzerck and have bets all over the table.

There are several player at the craps table at once and all of them can place different kind of bets if they choose. Only one player rolls the dice and he/she is called the shooter.

Before the Shooter rolls the dice, the players will place bets on the numbers that will come up and/or even the numbers that won’t come up.

Now the first time the Shooter rolls the dice, this is called the come out roll. So the first real action comes with this come out roll. Before the shooter tosses, the players make what are called pass line bets, and these bets are quickly won or lost with the outcome of the roll. You win with a 2 or a 7, and you lose with a 2,3, or 12.

The remaining numbers 4,5,6,8,9, and 10 they will come the point. If 6 becomes the point, the shooter will keep rolling those dice until he/she rolls another 6(the point) or a 7. Further, if the point number appears before a 7 is rolled, all the pass bets win. If the 7 arrives before the point, then all the pass bets lose. So nobody can win or lose until either the point or the 7 shows up so technically the game can last a long time.

This is what creates so much noise and excitement around those tables, but you can create that same feeling at home or at work by playing craps online. You can play for free or let it ride, but most important is to have some fun.
