It comes as no shock that recent studies done by by pollster, Allan Gregg, at the 2008 Canadian Gaming Summit, shoes that older gamers are stuck on traditional casino gambling, but those under younger folks are beginning to go online.
The real shift seems to come with those around 35 years old. Each year, the 35 group sees more and more of those polled feeling that gambling online is become a acceptable form of gaming. Those people under 35 feel that online casinos are just as safe and secure as all other type of online activities such as banking and file storing.
So what does this info mean? It means that online gamingis here to stay and while the old folks still take the bus to some Indian village somewhere, the rest of the world just boots up their desktop, laptop, or even their phone and has a very lifelike gambling experience.
That’s great news for me, because this gives online casinos more incentive to keep the bonuses coming and the affiliate programs more lucrative.
